Home Marriage

Matrimony (Marriage) is the sacrament in the Catholic Church by which “a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life” (CCC 1601). With the blessing of God and the Church – in the presence of family and friends – a couple who enters into marriage celebrates a union of love that is oriented toward each other’s good and towards procreation.
